If you're trying to download a video and it isn't working, the most common cause is that you're in an in-app browser. Here's the quick fix.
The Instagram in-app browser issue
If you opened Foxy from an Instagram bio link (or a link tapped from TikTok, X, or another app), you're likely inside that app's in-app browser. In-app browsers often block downloads as a security measure — even when the download is from a legitimate site like Foxy.
The fix — open Foxy in your real browser
Copy your foxy.ai link from the address bar (or just copy
foxy.aidirectly).Paste it into Safari (iOS) or Chrome (Android).
Sign in to your account inside the real browser.
Open the video and tap Download.
Other things to check
Use the Download button — don't try to right-click or screen-record. The Download button gives you the full-resolution video file
Make sure you have storage on your device
Check downloads permissions — your browser may need permission to save files
Once you've downloaded once in your real browser
Consider adding Foxy to your home screen so you don't keep landing in in-app browsers. See Is there a mobile app for Foxy? for setup steps.
