Likeness — strongest match to your character. Best for face, and also the best choice if your body shape and proportions aren't coming through the way you'd expect.

Realism — most photorealistic look (skin texture, lighting, natural feel). Match to your character can vary a little more than Likeness.

Pro — our newest and most capable model. It trades a small amount of likeness and skin realism for a big step up everywhere else: it follows detailed prompts much more closely and handles multiple characters, locations, outfits, body types, and poses far better than our other models. Tip: Pro rewards detail — the more specific you are about scene, outfit, and pose, the better the result.

Pro Lite — the same engine as Pro at a smaller output size. Noticeably faster, with a little less detail and sharpness, and it costs less per image. A good choice if you're generating a lot and want the Pro look for less. Pro is still the default, so pick Pro Lite in the model picker if you want it.
