Why is the quality so low when I save the image?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

If your saved images look blurry or pixelated, don’t worry - the original quality is still 4K!
This happens because of how the image is saved, not the actual generation quality

Here’s what’s happening:

When you drag, copy, or right-click → Save as from the Create page or Gallery, the image or video that’s saved is a compressed preview version - not the full-resolution file
This preview is optimized for fast loading inside the web app, so it looks slightly lower quality when downloaded that way

How to save in full 4K:

Always use the Download button (⬇️) on the image page.

That button saves the original 4K version of your image or video

Why we do this:

Images are now compressed in the in-app gallery view to make your workspace faster and smoother. The full-quality file is always stored and downloadable through the button
