My friend's content looks more realistic than mine - why is that?

If a friend's Foxy results look more realistic than yours, the difference is almost always in the training photos — not the prompts or the plan.

The most common difference

Friends with more realistic results almost always uploaded:

  • Real, unfiltered photos — no Instagram filters, no smoothing, no heavy editing

  • Sharp, well-lit photos — daylight is your friend

  • Consistent appearance across all 3 photos — same hairstyle, same makeup level, no major changes

  • Face frontal with the upper chest visible — not just a headshot

  • Different body poses in the two body shots — not the same angle twice

How to retrain

  1. Open the Characters tab.

  2. Tap the pencil icon on your character.

  3. Tap Change photos.

  4. Replace any or all of your 3 photo slots with better photos.

  5. Save and let your character retrain.

Retraining is free and uses your existing character slot — you don't need a new one.

It might also be the image model

Results can also differ depending on which image model was used. Foxy Realism gives the most photorealistic look, while Foxy Pro follows detailed prompts best. See Choosing your image model.
