If your AI doesn't look like you, don't worry — it's almost always fixable, and in most cases, the solution is your photo set.
Step 1 — Swap your character images (most effective fix)
The single most impactful change you can make is replacing your training photos. Your AI is only as good as the images it learned from.
To update your photos:
Go to Characters
Tap the edit (pencil) icon on your character
Replace your images and save
Foxy will retrain your character using the new images. You can do this as many times as you want.
What makes a good photo set?
📸 Clear face — no blur, filters, or obstructions
💡 Good lighting — natural light or well-lit indoor shots
😊 Multiple expressions — smiling, neutral, and natural
🔁 Consistent appearance — same hair colour and style throughout
👤 Only you in the photos — no group shots or other faces
🚫 No mirror selfies if you have tattoos (mirroring flips which side they appear on)-
🎨 Ensure tattoo visibility for accuracy by including sharp, well-lit images that show tattoos prominently and consistently across multiple photos.
Step 2 — Adjust your character settings
In the Characters tab, you can fine-tune things like body type, hairstyle, and how closely the AI follows your reference images. If specific features aren't coming out right, check these settings before retraining.For example, you can disable the tattoo toggle to reduce the appearance of tattoos or set hair length to a neutral option to avoid exaggerated lengths.

To manage tattoos effectively in Foxy:
Disable the Tattoo Toggle: Turn the tattoo toggle OFF in Character Settings to reduce the appearance of tattoos. However, note that this may not completely remove tattoos, as results depend on their visibility, size, and prominence in training photos.
Ensure Tattoo Visibility for Accuracy: If you want tattoos to appear correctly, ensure they are clearly visible and consistent across multiple training photos. Avoid mirrored selfies and include sharp, well-lit images that show tattoos prominently.
